Where does the name “Lothlórien” come from? This is the name of an Elvenwood, created by J.R.R. Tolkien. I am a great fan of his works. This forest can be found in “Lord of the Rings”. Below you can read a (shortened) fragment of this book, which shows immediately why I, as breeder of silveragouti white and former breeder of goldagouti white, choose this name.

And only when the yellow blossoms come to their branches in spring, do the leaves fall down.
